- Choose whether to crop all pages or a specific range (e.g. 1,3,5-7).
- Click "Crop & download" — the crop box is applied in your browser and the PDF downloads.
Frequently asked questions
- Is my PDF uploaded to a server?
- No. All processing runs locally with pdf-lib directly in your browser — the file never leaves your device.
- Does cropping delete content?
- No. pdf-lib sets a crop box, which hides the margins visually in viewers that respect it, but the underlying content is not removed from the file.
- How do I enter page ranges?
- Uncheck "Apply to all pages" and enter comma-separated page numbers or ranges, for example 1,3,5-7. Pages outside the document are ignored.
- What units are the margins in?
- Millimeters. For example, entering 10 in the top field removes 10 mm from the top of each page.
