Frequently asked questions

Is my image uploaded to a server?
No. Everything runs in your browser on an HTML canvas — your image never leaves your device.
What is the maximum border size?
Up to 200 px per side, so on a 1 000 px wide image a 200 px border produces a 1 400 px wide result. There is no minimum — set it to 0 to download the original unchanged.
What does the Shadow style do?
Shadow draws a slightly offset semi-transparent rectangle behind the image, creating the effect of the photo floating above the border background.
Which image formats are supported?
You can load JPG, PNG, WebP and most other browser-readable formats. The downloaded file keeps the original format (JPG stays JPG, PNG stays PNG); other formats are saved as PNG.
Can I add a black or coloured border instead of white?
Yes. Click the colour picker to choose any colour — including black, grey, pastel shades or a custom hex value.
