Frequently asked questions
- Is my image uploaded to a server?
- No. Everything runs in your browser on an HTML canvas — your image never leaves your device.
- What is the maximum border size?
- Up to 200 px per side, so on a 1 000 px wide image a 200 px border produces a 1 400 px wide result. There is no minimum — set it to 0 to download the original unchanged.
- What does the Shadow style do?
- Shadow draws a slightly offset semi-transparent rectangle behind the image, creating the effect of the photo floating above the border background.
- Which image formats are supported?
- You can load JPG, PNG, WebP and most other browser-readable formats. The downloaded file keeps the original format (JPG stays JPG, PNG stays PNG); other formats are saved as PNG.
- Can I add a black or coloured border instead of white?
- Yes. Click the colour picker to choose any colour — including black, grey, pastel shades or a custom hex value.
