Frequently asked questions

Is my image uploaded?
No. Everything happens locally in your browser on a canvas element — nothing is sent to any server, and the image never leaves your device.
What is the difference between Pixelate, Blur, and Black box?
Pixelate averages blocks of pixels so the area looks like a mosaic. Blur softens the region so details are unrecognisable. Black box replaces the area with solid black — the most aggressive and irreversible option.
Can I add multiple zones?
Yes. Drag to draw each zone and it is added to the list. You can remove individual zones before applying.
Which formats are supported?
JPG, PNG and WebP keep their format; other image types are saved as PNG.
