Frequently asked questions
- Is my image uploaded?
- No. Everything happens locally in your browser on a canvas element — nothing is sent to any server, and the image never leaves your device.
- What is the difference between Pixelate, Blur, and Black box?
- Pixelate averages blocks of pixels so the area looks like a mosaic. Blur softens the region so details are unrecognisable. Black box replaces the area with solid black — the most aggressive and irreversible option.
- Can I add multiple zones?
- Yes. Drag to draw each zone and it is added to the list. You can remove individual zones before applying.
- Which formats are supported?
- JPG, PNG and WebP keep their format; other image types are saved as PNG.
