Yes. The AI reads each page as both text and image, so scanned and image-only PDFs are translated just like text-based ones — no separate OCR step needed.

It preserves the structure — headings, lists and tables — and returns clean, readable text. It produces translated text rather than a pixel-perfect copy of the original layout.

What happens to my document?

It is sent over an encrypted connection only to produce the translation, and is not stored on our servers afterwards. Unlike the free tools, this feature does process your file on the server — that is how the AI reads it.
