Frequently asked questions

Is my image uploaded to a server?
No. Everything happens in your browser using the Canvas API — your image never leaves your device.
Which image formats are supported?
JPG, PNG and WebP keep their original format. Any other image type is saved as PNG.
What does the Repeat option do?
When Repeat is on, the watermark is tiled diagonally at a 30° angle across the whole image at regular intervals — useful for copyright protection.
Can I change the watermark color and transparency?
Yes. Use the color picker to choose any color and the opacity slider (10–100%) to control how transparent the watermark is. A semi-transparent white or grey watermark is a common choice.
Will the watermark reduce image quality?
PNGs are always lossless. JPGs and WebPs are re-encoded at 95% quality, so the difference is imperceptible.
